Drones

07.08.24 UPDATE.

Merge is involved with a project (DRONE FOLLOW ME) to follow your children to school and home again.

We are in the early stages of identifying a drone that has the capabilities of doing such a fete.

Also the sequence it would follow. At a price that parents can afford.

Keep watching for updates

16.08.24 UPDATE. Safety Comes First.

The most often misunderstood drone safety rule...
We quizzed thousands of recreational drone flyers on the drone safety rules. The most often misunderstood rule is about what to do when flying you drone near other people.

You must keep your drone at least 30 m away from other people when flying, unless they are assisting you or have duties essential to the operation of your drone.

Keeping at least 30 m from other people provides a buffer zone in case you lose control of the drone or there is a system failure. This area is also referred to as an exclusion zone. The 30 m exclusion zone must be measured from the point on the ground directly beneath the drone. The 30 m measurement is a lateral measurement (horizontally, not vertically). This also means you can't fly your drone above people at any time.

Before your next flight, take a moment to review all the drone safety rules and take our quiz.
